When I was looking for a resort to book in Bohol, this was the first resort that showed up at my Agoda app. I checked the reviews, was impressed, and booked right away! Bird of Paradise Resort is a hidden gem in Bohol, this place gives me Bali vibes! Located at Ester lim drive, Heartland Road Barangay, Panglao, Bohol, it’s a brand new boutique hotel about 10-15 minutes walk from Alona Beach and 5 minutes drive from Bohol-Panglao International Airport. They also offer airport transfers and it’s PHP500 per way for 2 people.

We super love this resort from the interior design, to the most friendly and helpful staff, great food, fast WiFi, the plants, and the ambiance is just wow!

They have 8 luxurious rooms which are all perfectly designed. You may book through their website, contact them at 0917-5222473, or book through booking apps. We booked through Agoda and paid PHP6,000 for our 3 nights stay!

Bedroom

All rooms includes a private terrace, a mini bar, cozy bathroom, a flat screen smart TV (with Netflix and YouTube) and a king size Bed. All the guests have free complementary breakfast. We booked a Double Deluxe bedroom, with a king bed plus a single bed, this room actually fits 3-4 people!

Two sinks for the win! No need to share specially when you’re in a hurry for your tours.

Complimentary Breakfast

This is the breakfast menu that you can choose from, we ordered American everyday LOL. They usually ask you a night before what breakfast you want in the morning.

Birds chirping with plants all over the place while you’re having breakfast. Best feeling ever!

Since we left at 6AM for our island hopping, they gave us packed breakfast prepared at 5:30AM. Each packed breakfast include 2 boiled eggs, 2 Monde mamon, and 2 water bottles. This will save you from being hungry in the morning and from buying expensive food during your island hopping.

They also have a bar, if you wanna chill at night. They also have a menu for other restaurants that can deliver for free since they don’t serve lunch and dinner.

And, let’s talk about the pool. How amazing is it? Yes, this resort is not beach front but you have everything that you need without having to go out!

This resort is highly recommended, and I promise it’s worth it! I’ll let the photos give justice. To add, their customer service is the best! All the staff are so friendly, helpful, and proactive!
