If you are looking for a resort in Batangas that has everything you need – from the cool “Maldives inspired” stilts, fine cream sand, huge pool, cute quotes all around the place, water activities and a chill place, I highy recommend this resort. It is located at Calatagan, Batangas which is about 3-4 hours travel time from Manila.

Transportation:

  • There’s a terminal in Pasay for buses and vans going to Calatagan. Bus fare is about Php140-160 and Php180 for the van. They leave as early as 4:00AM.
  • At Calatagan Market, you can ride a tricycle going to the resort for Php100-150. The road is rough going there so be prepared for a bumpy ride.
  • Going home, the last van trip is 4:00PM, so make sure to leave before that time. Ask the tricycle driver to pick you up since transportation is not easy outside the resort.
  • If you have a car, just follow Waze.

We’ve been in the resort five times already and we just keep on coming back. Although, the overnight stay is expensive, the day tour rate is fair enough. 🙂

Here are the day tour rates, cottage and corkage fees:

For more info about the resort, you can check their website Stilts.

There’s a cute miniature image of the resort in their reception area.

The way to the resort.

A lot of people are having their prenuptial photoshoot and wedding in this resort. The floating cottages are really nice in person especially at night when there are lights around the area. 🙂

The resort is clean and the place is serene.

We really love chillin’ in their beach beds.

There are a lot of activities that you can do in the resort aside from swimming in the beach.

Beach volleyball.

Be a kid and play with these. 🙂

Kayaking. This has extra payment. I believe it’s Php350 per hour.

My eldest son, Kern, enjoyed it so much. 🙂

Here’s our cottage.

We ordered food there and had lunch with the beach view. Food was good with big servings. By the way, the staff are friendly and you can ask them to take pictures of you. 🙂

We really like their huge swimming pool as well. It’s two connecting pools, one for kids which is about 3 feet and the other one is around 6 feet deep.

Kids love it, and Mommy too. 🙂

One thing that makes the resort cozy, are the quotes all over the place. Here are some. 🙂

And, my favorite, the sunset.

For our day tour, I just spent less than Php1,500 including food. Kyle was just 4 years old this time so he was free of charge. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here and will always come back! 🙂

I hope this blog helps especially for those planning their summer getaway already. 🙂 For more of my adventures and tips to different places, click Althea’s Adventures. Enjoy! 🙂
