If you’ve read my Dapitan Arcade blog, you’ll know that I’ve been working on our 3rd floor renovation for a while now. Since I graduated Interior Design last June 2020, I was giddy and wanted to apply what I’ve learned in my own home.
From an abandoned terrace to being my favorite place in the house!!! We worked on this for almost a month and it exceeded my expectation! Every corner of this terrace is Instagrammable! I enjoyed the whole process of this makeover. And since we can’t travel yet, I felt that I created my own safe haven. See the before and after photos.
BEFORE
RENDER
**I just used Floorplanner here, I have yet to take my AutoCAD course. Apologies for the not so professional render.
AFTER
There are three parts of this terrace:
- The Swing
- Entertainment area – which has a sofa, Acapulco chair, and center table
- Mini outdoor table with chairs for coffee or drinks
I swear, I go here every day after I water my plants. I usually have coffee while listening to good music.
This is how it looks like at night when the hanging lights are open. Ahhh! So pretty, right?
To see how I decorated our terrace, and the shops where I bought the furniture/items used for this project, you may watch the vlog here:
This terrace makeover was done in August (sorry late blog), I have more plants now and did some redecorating for Christmas well. If you’d like to see how it looks like today (November), you may refer to this blog – DIY Branch Christmas Tree.
