Sundays are our time to go to church, bond and do activities as a family. I bought the archery tickets a month ago through MetroDeal and since we don’t have plans after church, we decided to try it. I bought the ticket for Php 89 each for an hour use.M&J.jpg

M&J Archery is an outdoor archery range located at 100 Mayor Gil Fernando Ave, Marikina City.  It is open from 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM and closed on Mondays.

M&J Archery is not a place for professionals, this is really a place to play and have fun. You are not actually using a real bow and arrow, instead you’ll be using a plastic bow and arrow. The targets are a sponge foam that’s why it tends to get knocked over even though you were aiming for another.

Of course, Kyle wants to go first. The instructor was patient to teach him the basics.

Until he was able to do it on his own

The kids at heart (Kaeser and I) tried it too!

I actually expected more lights and decoration as seen on the MetroDeal page (photos below), but I guess some things change after it opened last year, September 2017. Or maybe because it’s a Sunday and there’s not many people. MJ-Archery-410-c.jpgMJ-Archery-410-d.jpg

To know more about our actual experience there, watch the vlog below:

  • You may use Waze or Google Maps and search for M&J Gastropub
  • If you’re going to commute, from Cubao ride a Montalban bound jeepney. You may ask the driver to drop you off at Petron Tuazon Ave.
  • Cross the street towards M&J Gastropub or Gangnam Restaurant

Overall, it was a fun experience and a good bonding activity for friends and family. And because of this, we want to try other archery place too! Can you suggest any? Leave a comment below. 🙂

That’s it for our Sunday fun day activity with our family. For more of our food trips, family activities and adventures, you may follow me on Facebook and Instagram!
